BLACK+DECKER BCRK32B Compact Refrigerator Review

BLACK+DECKER BCRK32B Compact Refrigerator Review, www.browngoodstalk.comGone are the days when everyone was keen on having a giant refrigerator at home. Now, as living spaces are getting smaller, huge single utility appliances is no more a trend. People want to get rid of their bulky possessions to replace them with their smaller and smarter counterparts.

BLACK+DECKER BCRK32B Compact Refrigerator is one such compact refrigerator that keeps things simple. It offers quite a lot of utility space and is, in fact, a big fridge under the disguise of a mini one.

The fridge comes with 2 full-width adjustable glass shelves for groceries and a detachable crisper compartment to store and keep your fruits and vegetables fresh. Equipped with 3 full-width door shelves and a spacious full-width freezer compartment with ice cube tray, this mini cooling device is a deal to chase.

Did I mention it’s an energy efficient refrigerator? Oh, boy, it is. This energy star certified refrigerator has a reversible door and leveling legs. More to your belly, this tiny baby comes with an adjustable thermostat control feature and an auto-defrost function. No more hassles of defrosting and keeping a tab on temperature control on your device. All you need is to just stock up the fridge with perishables and let this small machine do its work. Isn’t it great? Especially when days are getting hot and you’re getting hotter 😉

With dimensions of 17.52 x 19.29 x 32.72 inches, BLACK+DECKER BCRK32B Compact Refrigerator unit comes in an elegant black finish. It offers a spacious 3.2 cubic feet of cooling space, enough for a couple or a person. One-year parts and labor warranty and 2 years compressor warranty make this little baby even more adorable.

The unit offers 219 watts of cooling power and comes with an attractive price tag of $150. In my view, the most admirable features of this mini fridge are its energy efficiency and the auto-defrost function. And, yet the device is compact, it offers a hell lot of space to easily fit in a Keg if you remove all the inner shelves and the crisper compartment. All in all, a great little thing with a price of a dime. I think $150 is nothing for a performer like this.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Energy Efficient
  • Spacious with adjustable glass shelves, freezer compartment, and full-width door shelves
  • Space saving flat back design
  • Auto-Defrost
  • Adjustable thermostat control

Cons

There is no con in the fridge itself but with its flimsy packing. The unit often arrives dented. In some cases more than one dent on the front door. This is primarily due to improper shipping and handling which needs to be rectified.
