Breville BOV845BKSUSC Smart Pro Review

Baked goodies are everyone’s favorite. Soft and crumbly cakes and delicious cookies straight out of the home oven is no more a fantasy.
Convection ovens are here to stay. Gone is the day when people would wait for their oven to beep. Now, with fan-assisted convection technology, the food is cooked evenly and
quickly.

BOV845BKSUSC Smart Pro Countertop Oven, Bla, Black Sesame is a modern-age convection oven. And this isn’t just a convection oven. It’s a smart oven with element IQ – 5 independent quartz
heating elements. The elements help rotate the power where it’s needed most. This results in even and uniform produce as each element adjusts for your chosen setting.

Besides an oven, Breville Smart comes equipped with 10 pre-set cooking functions. The device toasts 6 slices, bagel, bake, roast, broil, pizza, cookies, reheat, warm, and slow cook. The oven senses the need and shifts from slow cook to keep warm once the slow cook cycle is completed. Isn’t it great? Isn’t it smart work? In other words, this oven takes the cook out of the kitchen.

With 1800 watts of high cooking power and extra-large cooking space, the oven bakes and cooks plenty of food in one single go. The interior oven light lets you keep an eye on your device and on
the food that is being cooked.

With dimensions of 18.5 x 14.5 x 11 inches, the oven weighs around 23 lbs. Sturdy stainless-steel body is robust enough to deal with all kind of cooking loads. The device offers pretty large cooking cavity. The unit easily accommodates 4lbs of chicken, small casserole dishes, and 13-inch pizza without issues.
The one thing I like the most about this oven is that it has a large cooking cavity, yet it’s a sleek and compact device. It sits on my kitchen countertop and works as a chef.

Pros:

  1. Smart Convection oven with element IQ – 5 independent quartz heating elements
  2. 10 pre-set cooking functions
  3. High 1800 watts of cooking power
  4. Solid stainless-steel construction
  5. Compact and sleek

Cons: Some users complain of loud noise as soon as the oven is switched on which goes after a few
minutes. This is because the fan was working on heating up the cooking cavity and once it removes all the cold air, it quiets down automatically.
