Heat is gradually transferred from the surface of cakes, cookies, and breads to their center. As heat travels through, it transforms batters and doughs into baked goods with a firm dry crust and a softer center.
The oven accommodates up to 3 half size sheet pans (1 commercial sheet pan included). The front safety door is, surprisingly, cool to touch while the oven is in its working mode. The door is removable for easy cleaning. Cooking chamber is 9” high x 18-3/4” wide x 13-3/4” deep with 1.34 feet cooking capacity. Heat setting ranges from 175 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Cadco POV-013 is a fan-assisted or a fan oven that has a squirrel cage fan which circulates air around food. The fan helps distribute heat (coming from the heating element) evenly around the food, removing the blanket of cool air that surrounds the food in the oven, allowing food to cook more evenly in less time and at a lower temperature than in any conventional oven. The baffle directs air from the fan into the cooking chamber of the oven. The oven has a pretty big cooking chamber for baking larger quantities of food. The oven is compact, so easy to use and easy to clean, hence preferable over any large-sized convection oven or any other non-convection traditional oven.
